Mugen Sports Exhaust (Single) - Was at KingCrimson yesterday. For CRV bros interested in getting this performance exhaust, KC is offering $1320. KC needs minimum 3 orders to send for LTA approval.

https://online.mugen-power.com/b2c/b2c0104.php?CARID=Y10&LID=0005&PRDID=18000-XLB+-K0S0&CTG=&BUNS=06&LIST=

I suppose this is without installation.  Rub Chin  Anyone interested? Tony...

alamak, I used wrong word "offering", shld say selling instead. the price has not gone down since one year ago. $1320 shld cover installation and gst. But after installation, still need to send to gahmen for certification, this will be abt 78 bananas. maybe bro ericx, joeljosh interested. i think still can negotiate if can get more people...

Today was at FK to check out prices  Grin
Unfortunately, they don't have any aftermarket LTA approved muffler for CRV.
Anyway, to operate on our stock muffler, damage-$200. Straight thru/semi-flow cat converter - ard $120.
I've ordered a titanium tappered muffler tip 5"  Naughty, delivery in 4-6 weeks time. I was told it's LTA compliant!
Damage-$120 + $30(for stainless steel welding).
The 4" will cost $90
I compared both the 4" & 5" at rear bumper, the 4" looked about the same as stock's extended tip, not much difference. The 5" will look more 'garang'  Naughty

Here's the 5" blower  Haha

CR-V no choice, market too small no exhaust shop will bother to spend money to send any exhaust for approval. Tip add ons usually no problem since it is more cosmetic then modifying the performance. Slot in and screw on types for sure no issue, but for weld on kinds I have heard LTA can also argue that as long they see weld marks they will not allow (which is silly for this case if you ask me) Don't Know I was tempted to get these too when doing up my dual exhausts (like you said look garang), in the end Rob decided to take the safer and cheaper option Grin

That goes without saying, no doubt about it. That is one main item to mod for performance enhancement. Stock is very restricted in exhuast air flow. Aftermarket exhuast usuallyhas better airflow and hence breathe easier. This translates to more bhp. Full exhuast system mod will see best result. Note, this mod is highly illegal here  Sob

Yes, but how much will very much depend on what other things you do. By just changing the muffler alone, do not expect a 10bhp upgrade.
